"I had to sit here and watch my family playing on the beach" Kevin recalls. A local family man, Kevin recognises the potential benefit of Beach Wheel-Chairs becoming available to visitors to Prestwick Beach, "The Beach Wheel-Chair Project will enable people to get out onto the beach with their families and join in the fun!"

Not only the beach, but the balloon wheels also make it possible for wheel-chair users to play a round of Prestwick's 18-hole putting course. Prestwick Putting Plus coordinator, John, says "This project will enable more people to come and enjoy the facilities here at Prestwick Shore."
