Day two of National Volunteer week, and today we’re highlighting all the work that Darren has done with us over the years!Darren has been volunteering with CGX for years. He’s been a key member of our Cycle Works team, always up for getting involved and helping out wherever he can. He also was awarded by VASA for his volunteer work with CGX Cycle Works. Though, he doesn’t limit himself to bikes.. He’s also our resident cheese toastie chef! A big thank you to Darren for all of his generosity over the years. It wouldn’t be the same without you!#charity #volunteerweek #nationalvolunteerweek #scottishcharity #ayr #scotland @impact_funding #impact_funding ... See MoreSee Less

Happy National Volunteer Week!Today we’re giving a massive shout out to one of our original volunteers, Kevin. Kevin has been volunteering in our restoration workshop for years now, and has produced some beautiful pieces for us to sell on in the shop! His commitment has even been recognised by VASA, as he was recently awarded for his volunteering with CGX. Seldom seen without his orange overalls on, he’s alway’s smiling and listening to the radio as he works away. From all of us at CGX.. Thank you so much, Kevin, for all your hard work and time!#volunteerweek #nationalvolunteerweek #volunteering #charity #ayr #scottishcharity @impact_funding #impact_funding ... See MoreSee Less

When the bike shop that we are raising funds for is up and running it will be a place where more young people and trainees can volunteer. Thanks for all your support! ... See MoreSee Less
